CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS
All bookings remain tentative
until a non refundable booking deposit of $500.00 has been placed. A second catering deposit is
required upon confirming your menu and function arrangements. At
such time a written confirmation and terms of agreement letter
will be sent to you along with the request for a catering deposit
of 50% of the total catering amount (50% x catering price per head
x no. of pax. We reserve the right to cancel your booking
if we do not receive your catering deposit within 12 days of our
letter requesting it.
CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a confirmed function must
unfortunately be cancelled with less than thirty days
notice given, no refunds will be given on deposits
and in some circumstances an additional cancellation fee
will be charged of 50% of the total bill. The
management reserves the right to cancel any confirmed functions
at their discretion.
QUOTES
Quotes are valid for one month (4 weeks) from the date
of quotation unless otherwise specified.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE REQUIREMENTS
The guaranteed number of guests attending your event
is required 5 working days prior to the event. Charges will
be based on guaranteed minimum numbers, or final head count whichever
is greater. Menu and Beverage selection is required 7 days
prior to the event.
SURCHARGE
Surcharges are incurred on bookings held on Sundays
or Public Holidays of $5 per person.
PAYMENT
Full payment by cash, credit card or bank cheque
is required prior to the event.
CHILDREN
Children are charged at the same rate as adults or alternatively
children's meals are available if requested in advance.
Chicken or Fish and Chips @ $30.00 per head
Highchairs and other children's facilities are unfortunately not
available on premises
Children must be supervised at all times.
WEDDING CAKES
Wedding Cakes may be served as an accompaniment with tea and coffee
or as take home gifts. A serving charge is applicable dependent
upon the function size and guest numbers. Please note wedding
cake arrangements are the responsibility of patrons to organise
and unfortunately cannot be provided through the kitchen. Our wedding
planner is able to recommend the best suppliers in the area for
your consideration.
BAR TABS AND OPEN BARS
The bar works on a tab system where the patron may choose to designate
a set limit per head for the duration of the function. When
the limit is approaching the patron is notified and may then set
a new limit or close the bar. As the patron you may specify
what will and will not be offered through the bar during the function. All
beverages are served by the glass to patrons and charged by the
bottle to the bar tab.
SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
A seating plan will be supplied after confirmation as an aid to
planning your seating arrangements.
Place cards are required in order for staff to easily seat guests. A
detailed seating plan will need to be arranged prior to the event
with our staff. This involves drafting a plan of tables and
then allocating guests to each seat. Place cards may be given
prior to staff to set or you may wish to allocate a family member
or friend to arrange the cards prior to the function.
Our wait staff can advise the best possible plan for your function. Square
tables are provided, however, you may wish to choose round tables
- this will incur an additional charge. White linen is provided
free of charge for the square tables and tables set with full cutlery,
linen napkins and glassware.
ACCOMMODATION REQUIREMENTS
For the comfort and freedom of both our in-house guests and your
planned reception, we encourage all function and wedding clients
(planning a moderate to large reception 40 plus pax) to strongly
consider reserving the entire premises in conjunction with their
event. This ensures that the function/reception is not limited
by noise and access considerations of the in-house guests, which
would otherwise be applicable. It is also a great way to
spend a weekend with your friends and family in a relaxed environment
where you can enjoy the privacy and unlimited access of the entire
premises.
Reserving the accommodation in conjunction with your planned function/reception
has many other advantages.
For dinner functions greater than 30pax the entire accommodation
(four villas) is required to be reserved in conjunction with the
reception.
For functions (lunch/dinner) under 30 at least one villa is required
to be reserved.
Please note for larger evening functions which require the
sole use of the restaurant and in other circumstances the entire
accommodation is conditionally required to be reserved in addition
to the restaurant dining room due to noise restrictions. The
establishment reserves the right to make this decision based
on each individual function requirement.

WET WEATHER ARRANGEMENTS
No responsibility is taken by the establishment in the event of
wet or bad weather. All clients are encouraged to have a
feasible wet weather plan for their ceremony and outdoor arrangements
in the event of such.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Photographs are welcome to be taken in the establishment grounds
and rooms. Our wedding co-ordinator will be able to recommend
other suitable locations.
NOMINATED PERSON
We ask that a nominated person be specified as a contact during
the function with whom our restaurant manager and function co-ordinator
may confer with during the function. This relieves the bride
and groom from the minor operational concerns of the function
NOISE LEVEL RESTRICTIONS
"Pockets" is a unique commercial property nestled in
a unique alcove amongst private residences. Because of this
we are restricted with noise levels and as a courtesy to our neighbours
and accommodation patrons, we, therefore, request you to inform
the establishment of any planned entertainment and events for the
night.
The establishment reserves the right to cease any entertainment
which is unauthorised or which creates inappropriate noise levels
at any time during the reception.
WEDDING CO-ORDINATOR
Should you require, we would be happy to assist you in finding
those special extras that make this day truly memorable. We
can also recommend the services of Byron Shires best wedding co-ordinator.
Additional auxiliary arrangements as outlined
here are available
through the service of nominated Wedding Co-ordinator or at the
client's discretion to organise.
BEVERAGES
Beverages are served on an open bar system and charged upon consumption. You
may set a pre-determined limit and designate specifically what
you would like to offer on the tab, e.g. beer, wine, champagne,
spirits, ports, etc
SEATING PLAN
Depending upon final numbers - we will be happy to discuss seating
arrangements, provided in the restaurant are square tables, crisp
white linen tablecloths and serviettes. If you require round
tables and round clothes there will be an additional hire fee. A
floor plan of the restaurant is enclosed herewith for your perusal
and consideration.
ENTERTAINMENT'
There is a CD player available in the restaurant should you wish
to bring you own selection of music.
We ask that moderate sound levels be maintained throughout the
function due to our residential noise restrictions within the surrounding
area and our other in-house patrons. Please note we request
to be advised of all planned entertainment.
ACCOMMODATION
We offer four Villas, the cost is based on twin share accommodation
from $250.00 per night with an additional cost per person at $50.00
per night.
The Deluxe Honeymoon Suite is from $295.00 per night.
Check in time is 2.00 p.m. and check out time is 10.00 a.m.
Where possible we will do our best to accommodate arrivals and
departures outside these times.
DEPOSIT
A non refundable deposit of $500.00 is required to secure a booking
of the Restaurant. A further 50% non refundable deposit is
required to secure accommodation. Upon confirmation of your
menu we will then require a 50% catering deposit based upon your
confirmed minimum guest numbers.
Final payment is to be made by cash , bank cheque or credit
card prior to the event.
